Why you decided to be a Field Service Engineer: When I graduated I knew I wanted to do something that challenged me, was technical, and gave me the opportunity to interact with people.
Advice you wish someone had given you when you first started working with ultrasound: Listen to the customer and ask as many questions as possible before they leave when troubleshooting an issue.
Tip every ultrasound user/owner should know: Please remember an ultrasound unit is not a permanent storage device for your studies. Please back up and delete your studies regularly to avoid a software issue with your unit.
Favorite part of your job: Being a consultant for customers. Sometimes customers are faced with tough decisions whether or not to repair their unit, if they need a service contract, and when it’s time to replace their unit. I enjoy helping them make the right decision and sharing my experience with them.
Something people might not guess about you: I like singing karaoke but I’m not very good. I also enjoy driving on a race track and working on my cars.
What’s playing in your car when you’re driving to work on an ultrasound machine: Usually the news when I’m working. After work I listen to Reggae, Classic Rock, Punk, and the Blues.
Favorite food: Anything my wife is cooking for dinner. Seriously, she’s a great cook.
One item on your bucket list: Drive cross country with my wife.
